I planted hibiscus seeds out in the school yard today. The seeds looked really unique. Some were long and some were flat. I felt this unexplainable happiness when I was digging the soil to plant them. Do you know why flowers don’t grow when you plant them in sand? Haha! That’s because sand doesn’t contain much nutrition unlike the fine soil. This is true because my teacher told me. But there shouldn’t be rocks nearby the soil when you plant the seeds.

Because the rocks block the sprouting flowers from coming outside. I wonder how my seeds are doing in the soil right now. Are they watching me?

[blue note: I love to watch you looking after the flowers everyday. Please take good care of them! -mom]
